Festival Kids:

Bluegrass In Paradise is partnering with The Trailhead Children's Museum to offer children's activities. A kids tented area will be roped off inside the venue, and will include activities such as bubble wands, face painting, hoola hoops, and other fun games.

Additionally, The Trailhead Children's Discovery Museum will be open daily from 10 am and 4 pm featuring their array of exhibits. The Trailhead is located in the Outpost Building, next to the Adventure Center at the base of the ski area.

Kids will also enjoy the Crested Butte Moutain Resort's Adventure Center Park activities including: bungee trampoline, mini-golf, and climbing wall adjacent to the Festival grounds. Your Kids can bounce and listen to great Bluegrass tunes.

Adventure Park admission is not included in the Festival pass. Tickets can be purchased a Crested Butte Mountain Resort's Adventure Park.

Workshops:

Bluegrass In Paradise will present five free bluegrass workshop on Sunday July 15 in Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte. 2012 Workshops are as follows (with musicians to be announced):

Workshop 1: Guitar
Workshop 2: Mandolin
Workshop 3: Fiddle
Workshop 4: Banjo
Workshop 5: Bluegrass Band

Workshop registration begins at 9:30 Am on Sunday July 15th in the Treasury Building at the base area of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Shortly after registration all groups will head off to workshops locations around the base area with instructor.

Please note: all workshops will be held outside weather permitting. Bring appropriate gear for summer in the mountains.
